You can change the text in the component language file.

I checked the language files but could not find a value which changes this button.

What is the value called?

I am using Joomla 2.5

Strange. The variable PREORDER does not appear in my language file:

/administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_ipricecalc.ini

Also, I changed the value for ORDER_COMMENTS, but it is not changed in the form.

You need to change front end language file, not backend language file:

/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_ipricecalc.ini
