I would like to set the short and long description fields to left justify, rather than the default center justify.
what file needs to be modified to achive this?

You can change it using css file /components/com_ipricecalc/views/price/tmpl/ipricecalc.css or template file /components/com_ipricecalc/views/price/tmpl/default.php
