IPrice minimart user guide

If you changed the source files of the component, do not forget to make a backup of changed files. After reinstalling the component will need to manually add the changes into new files. Before upgrading the component on live site You should make a backup of the database and files.

Upgrading from a previous (or trial) version of IPrice minimart.

Just install the new version of the component over an old version. Do not uninstall previous (or trial) version before installing the new. In this case all setting of the component will be saved. Reinstall modules and plugins (if you are use). Just install new version of a module or a plugin over the old version without uninstalling an old version.

Upgrading from other components of IPrice family: IPrice calculator 1.5.11 or higher, IPrice calculator LIGHT 1.17 or higher

Just install the new version of the component over an old version. Do not uninstall previous (or trial) version before installing the new. In this case all setting of the component will be saved. Reinstall modules and plugins (if you are use). Just install new version of a module or a plugin over the old version without uninstalling an old version.

Upgrading from old components of IPrice family: IPrice calculator 1.5.10 or lower, IPrice calculator LIGHT 1.1.6 or lower

follow these steps to upgrade:

• Uninstall previous version of IPrice component.
• Remove old IPrice tables from database using PHPMyAdmin utility (you need to remove all tables with "iprice_" prefix). Note, that all your data (products) will be lost after deleting IPrice tables. You need to add products manually again, if you do not use Import file to add products. You can export items from an old version before deleting using SQL queries (see bellow "Export data") and then you can import items to the new iprice minimart using resulting CSV file.
• Install new version of IPrice minimart.
• Reinstall modules and plugin (if you are use). Just install new version of a module or a plugin over the old version without uninstalling an old version.

Export data (categories, items) from IPrice components

You can export sections, categories and items to CSV file using PHPMyAdmin utility and following SQL queries:

- SQL query for export from IPrice calculator LIGHT.
- SQL query for export from IPrice calculator.
- SQL query for export items and categories from IPrice minimart old version (before ver. 2.2.0).
- SQL query for export categories from IPrice minimart new version (2.2.0 and above).
- SQL query for export items from IPrice minimart new version (2.2.0 and above).

How to export:

1. Run PHPMyAdmin utility, select your database, select "SQL" tab and paste the body of SQL query into SQL tab. You need to replace the default table prefix "jos_" to a prefix of tables in your database in a query body.
2. Click to "Export" link bellow, select export type "CSV data", select option "Include column headers" and click "Go".

You can use the resulting CSV file for import to IPrice minimart.
